Best manufacturer of AR barrels- milspec type

I have a bushmaster with the HABR and AK muzzle brake and am debating going to a M4 profile with a threaded barrel.

I don't want a stainless barrel and I do want chrome lined- any recommendations for manufacturer and supplier? Bushy seems damn expensive but i may go that way just to keep the rifle as a 1 manufacturer rifle.

Bushmaster is on the cheap end of AR barrels.

If you want the best chrome-lined barrel, it is probably the GTS barrel that Chris pointed you towards. They use a Mike Rock barrel as a starting point and then have it chrome-lined by the same people who do Colt's product.

However, pretty much all of the people making a chrome-lined barrel make a good barrel. If you lined them up in front of me and had me shoot them, I doubt I could tell you the difference in most cases.
