Meprolight Tru-Dots ride on mine. I haven't seen anything I like better. A night sight should have white rings around the dots for daytime use. I think Glock factory night sights also have them.
When I used to own a few Glocks, I had Meprolights on all of them. I currently have Meprolights on both of my XDm's. They are my preferred night sights. They are very bright and last a long time.
Of the ones I've tried, I like a night sight that also gives a good sight picture. My two favorite so far are the Ameriglo I-Dot (2 dot) and the Ameriglo Operator (3 dot).
For the money, the best three-dot sights are Meprolight. Quite good. They use Trijicon vials, so you are really getting Trijicons for very little money.
I am kinda-sorta coming around to the XS Big Dots night sights. The two dot alignment pattern is quite good.
I use Meps, Trijicons and Ameriglo. Ameriglo uses Trijicon tubes, which have a superior mounting system, compared to Meprolight tubes. Also, Trijicon uses a synthetic sapphire lens to focus the light from the tubes.
Ameriglo offers several styles for Glocks. Couple of days ago I installed a set of Ameriglo Pro Operators on a friend's G34. Great sights.
"What you get" when you order a Glock with night sights is largely irrelevant to my decision-making process. "What you get" varies from year-to-year.
I like the Tru glow TFO sights as well as XS big dots. If you get the big dots, you might not want to put them on your 19 as you will have to talk to lots of James Yeager haters.
I put Ameriglo I-dots on my 23, and like them quite a bit. The two dot system is quick in low light, but the orange front dot and mostly black rear work well for more precise shooting during the day. I'll be putting these same sights on my 19.
