When a ‘gun writer’ opines about ‘pocket pistols’ I generally assume they mean 120 year old guns intended for jacket (as in suit coat) pockets, not current-day pants pockets. I also assume the writer in question probably doesn’t realize that’s what those old guns were intended for.
I carry a KAHR PM45 most of the time, in Carhartt carpenters. It’s just not that bad. Most people consider the J-Frame a pocket pistol and it larger than most, if not all on the OP’s list.
Then again maybe carhartts are the new hammer pants, as “skinny jeans” seem to be the trend now days so that could explain why you guys think pistols literally designed for pocket carry are to big for pocket carry.
I hear over and over again how Walther PPS’s and S&W Shield’s aren’t “pocket pistols”.
Then again I wear Carharts and cargo pants quite a bit more than skinny jeans. Maybe some forum members should quit wearing jeans that they have to lay down and expel their breath to get on.
