Let's see some big-bore snubbies (pictures). Shortened N-frames are cool, but I was thinking more along the lines of smaller, 5-shot models, in .45ACP, .44 Special, and .45 Colt.

I'm interested in the Taurus 450. A 5-shot .45 Colt snubby is just a good idea, IMO.

The Tracker looks interesting - but I would get the 4" version and have it chopped to about 2.5"

They all seem to be ported and I just aint into porting :p

Just picked up a 696 Smith in 44 Special with 3 inch barrel. Also got a Mtn Gun with 4 inch barrel in 44 mag. Will attempt to conceal both.

I have a Tracker in 45 colt with a 4" barrel and it is a great shooter and it carries well except for the ribber grip. It is to tacky and grabs clothing.

I would love to find a nice pair of round butt finger grove wood grips like spegel boot grips.

I have thought about having the under lug milled off so it looks similar to a S&W mod 66.

call me sick if you will but a buddy of mine has a Super redhawk in 44 mag that one day he placed a rag over the barrel 7.5 " at the base of the fame and I thought I saw the ultimate snubby , it looked like a brick ! we where thinking of making one of these by unscrewing the barrel and having it cut . anybody have photoshop that could make me a picture??

You mean like this?

You'd probably want to replace the grip with one of the smaller ones seen on the fixed-sight GP100s.

Now you're talkin.
Up the caliber to .454 Casull, bob the hammer spur, shorten the grips, grind off the front of the trigger guard ala a "Fitz" special, lose the sights for some kind of fixed ones and you have my dream CCW gun.

Stoke that baby up with 5 .45LC @ ~1100 fps and one full house .454 as the last shot.

I sorta vaguely remember that Charter Arms offered a 5-shot snubby 44 Spl sometime in the 70's. Think they called it the "bulldog". Saw one of those once, and man...that hole in the end of the tube looked HUGE for that size gun.
