I had a Charter 3" .44 cal Bulldog for a while. Mine shot high and to the right and was tweaked by several gunsmiths to no avail.

I really LUV the look of the Alaskan in .44 mag. Seems like a reasonable choice if you wanted to carry .44 spl for CHL work. It would be an IWB gun but the weight is up there. At 41 oz its 3 oz heavier than my 4" bbl 686+.
