has any one ever seen one while out hunting? me=no but i had a very long long night out camping in Missouri in oct of 06. what we herd and listened to most of the night made the hair on your arms and neck stand up. what scared us the most was that we had 2 of the meanest husky malamutes with us. i was fine till the dogs went down to the pond to see what all the co motion was. all you hear was 2 dogs yping and whining, and they lit off for home and never came back. what ever it was also spooked the cattle earlier in the night. and they moved from one side of the pastchor to the other. any way i grew up at the omaha hennry dorrly zoo. my father was the steam train engineer. and you would have to be their early in the mornings to lite the fire and have steam up to operating pressure by 9am. and when the sun comes up over the missouri river all the animals wake up and roar or make the noises that that animal makes. what i hear in the ozarks that night was like nothing i ever heard before or since. my other? would you shoot a big foot and put the mith to rest or not.
