I WANT TO KNOW THE BIGGEST AND BEST HANDGUN TODAY. REVOLVER OR REGULAR? AND IF YOURE WONDERING WHAT I WANT OVER WHAT USE THIS EQUATION = BIGGEST>BEST. I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING AND ALL INFORMATION ABOUT IT AND WHAT BULLETS IT TAKES. ID IMAGINE ITD BE HARD TO HOLD AND OVERLY POWERFUL AND THATS OK.

i can't seem to parse your equation. must be that new math i keep hearing about.

Do a Google search on the S&W 500 Magnum. It's a revolver that shoots bullets heavier than 12 gauge slugs.

You'll find lots of information on it. After reading up on it, if you have specific questions, come back and I'll be glad to try to answer them. If you're a troll, don't bother.

By the way, I think your caps lock key is stuck.

Welcome - but please use lower case - all cap's is ''shouting'' and not too popular!

My biggest and best offering is two possible candidates - both are mean puppies.

BFR by Magnum Research in 45-70 - which when loaded to my specs is quite ''potent'' - throwing a 405 grain pill with quite some energy.

The other is .454 Casull SRH which also has some useful power.

Perhaps now the Smith 460 is near top - well excluding a 600 Nitro Express (cough) which ain't gonna be in most folk's collection - this gun with the full load 460 is tabled as being good for 200 yard shooting. A web search will bring up more info on that.

Have we been invaded by videogamers or what? :barf:

First of all that Thunder 50 does NOT need "special recoil absorbing gloves".
:banghead:

It was demonstrated at the 2005 S.H.O.T. show to show the effectiveness of the parent company's muzzle brake.
It was never intended for sale.

All we need is for some idiot to start mass producing .50BMG handguns. Then all of that nice inexpensive .50BMG ammo will dry up since it will then be considered armor piercing handgun ammo.
Didn't the 7.62x39 pistol bruhaha teach anyone anything? :cuss:

On yeah and one more thing for all of the kiddies out there.
Just because a cartridge is big and bad in a long barreled, tripod mounted weapon doesn't mean it will still be so when fired in a short barreled handgun. Muzzle blast ony adds to lethality when fired at contact distances.

I would go with regular

:barf: :barf: :barf:
I WOULD GO WITH REGULAR, OR MABE A LASER, OR MABE ONE THAT TAKES BULLETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude, It would be so easy. I cant dog you. welcome, look, first off. Buy a gun magazine. Look in it. Find some questions that make sense.

Then come back, we can give lots of info. And please dont yell.

Being a little rough aren't we fella's? That said, I have to agree with the above reply that mentions getting a gun mag. Better yet, since you obviously have the internet, Google it. It helps to have a LITTLE knowledge about a topic before bringing it up for discussion. However, if you are serious about learning about firearms, I can't think of many places where you will have the opportunity to have your questions answered by so many friendly and knowledgeable folks. By the way, welcome!

Is this simply a knowledge based question or a "what should I buy" question?

I agree with Chris on the BFR .45-70. When loaded properly it can safely
exceed the energy of .500 Magnum and still remain controllable and pleasant
enough to shoot more than one cylinder.

I also agree with most everyone else in reference to exactly what are you
expecting out of and meaning by the term the "BIGGEST AND BEST HANDGUN TODAY"?

Spend some time looking through the different areas of THR, it is a great
resource. That might help you formulate more precise guidelines for what you
want as well as enlighten you to other options you may have not considered.

If youre gonna have a 45-70 at least make it a 'mans' one;)

Sorry P95carry,
Nah, but in all fairness those are two very sexy looking pistols you have there.

Is this a revolver?

I think I'll get on my big wheel now and go buy a popsickle....:banghead:

Boom-stick,

The Joker called he, wants his gun back. :neener:

What is that 14" or 16", longest I've ever seen was 10" IIRC.

Very funny:rolleyes:

I think it's 20"
But over here in the UK it's what we get now.

If you like that you'll love this Dan Wesson

Here's my own one's

.44mag Competitor with 23" barrel

Browning buckmark with 12" and wrist brace.

Those would be kinda neat to have but I would not want to be forced to only
be able to have them. I guess something is better than nothing.

How is the accuracy on those third legs? What are their respective ranges?
That ".44mag Competitor with 23" barrel" might be a fun one to shoot.

Unles it's a muzzle loader all firearms have to been over 24" in overal length and have a 12" barrel as a minimum:mad:

It is FUN, specially when the folk at the haven't got a clue what it is:what: .

at 30yrds 5 shots turn into one ragged hole, at 100yrds I get around 1.5"-2" but I don't really use it enough to get any better with it.

Pardon the pun but it sounds like a blast. Do those guns come from the
MFG that way or are they special ordered?

M2 Carbine makes me sad.... he has a lot of the toys I wish I had. :D
I think I'm going to start directing my efforts in that direction.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
