All Very Humorous, but Beware! In Canada....leaving a cartridge in your vehicle is a Federal Offense! It's Unsafe Storage! (Pardon all the capitalized words, it's just the way They think)
The man who owns the shell, as well as the man who owns the car, can be charged; and (in Ontario/Quebec, the Provincial Police; anywhere else, the RCMP) can seize your guns, ammo, and any/all shooting supplies, and revoke your various permits and authorizations. It can cost you thousands to get back to where you began. And your record will never be clean again.
It all depends upon whether they feel like screwing you that day.
Comes from having a set of laws vague enough to be enforced according to the political leanings of the officer/prosecutor, rather than being clear enough to serve as 'rule of law'.
