I am 18 about to be 19 and was wondering if it is legal for me to own a Single Action, Black Powder Revolver in the State of Oklahoma. And if so do I need a CCL to carry it?

Thanks

Found this regarding this type of firearm in OK. Now, this doesn't reference any statute but it seems to indicate the answer would be no.

Oklahoma statutes are silent on antique and replica firearms. They are treated as ordinary firearms for possession and carrying purposes.

This seems supported by the following from OK Title 21:

For purposes of this section, “firearm” means a rifle, pistol or shotgun.
21-1287.1.

And

§21-1289.3. Definitions for Firearms Act - Pistols.
DEFINITIONS FOR FIREARMS ACT
"Pistols" as used in the Oklahoma Firearms Act of 1971, Sections 1289.1 through 1289.17 of this title, shall mean any firearm capable of discharging a projectile composed of any material which may reasonably be expected to be able to cause lethal injury, with a barrel or barrels less than sixteen (16) inches in length, and using either gunpowder, gas or any means of rocket propulsion, but not to in

Doesn't seem to allow for black powder to be treated differently.

Not a lawyer blah blah blah....
