$400 a year???? My club charges less than $100 and that comes with 2 100 yard ranges one 300 yard range and 6 or 7 pistol bays. No anti rapid fire rule either.

Where did you see that $400 info?

Hartford Gun Club - about $550. Others I belong to are in the $1-200 range.

Not cheap but remember - you're not in Arkansas anymore and clubs up this way DO require that members have teeth.

(Im kidding)

nothings cheap up this way. Its all relevant.

:D

That's mostly true, residents of Rockville get a missing teeth waiver but must have at least three remaining to qualify. :D

Used to go to Wooster mountain all the time with the black rifles and never had a problem. Always seemed to be more black rifles there than any other kind and never had a problem with rapid fire.

If I had to guess, the most centrally located range is Blue Trails in Wally World. It's a pay as you go public range.

280, how about early spring? shoot for a couple/few, then lunch or dinner at a Hooters...

Hooters, must be a place for owls or something I guess... :D

PM me anytime, we'll go! Maybe we'll coerce a few others while we're at it.

If you don't get me here, pm me over at APS

Thanks for all the suggestions, folks. I'd definitely be up for a meet at some point, even if I have to drive a bit. I'll check out Wooster Mountain for sure, since it's the closest, and apparently EBR-friendly.

The other Danbury shop is VERY odd...
I'm curious why you say so... I assume you're referring to JT's Gun Shop on Mill Plane Rd? I haven't been there, but I noticed it while driving around.

I found out I'm about three miles from the Hartford Gun Club, but $550 a year is a little ridiculous when I can drive up to NH and shoot for free.

I'm just starting a new job so my schedule is spotty right now, but I'll be interested to hear if a get-together happens.
