have a question about the Ruger Single Actions...
will the convertible blackhawk 45acp cylinder
fit and function in the 45 colt Bisley? Will
the 45acp cylinder function in any 45Colt caliber
Ruger? One reason for asking is to get the 45acp cylinder
for my blackhawk, if it will work...
and, that I am toying with the idea of saving my
lunch money for the
Bowen Classic Arms "Kenai" conversion and
figured the convertible cylinder option would
only be that much better. Thanks.

I use a blue 45 acp cylinder in a sst 45 colt ruger blackhawk. it didn't require any fitting and shoots better than the 45 colt cylinder and I paid $40 for it. that is not to say that another cylinder in another revolver wouldn't require some fitting. look at a gunshow for one and try it

May as well make 'em BE ALL THEY CAN BE! Here's some I sent off to Ruger and had done:

And these came Convertible from the factory, a special run for distributor "Acusport":

Best to have Ruger fit the Convertible Cylinders to the guns and then they'll also be numbered to the guns.

By the way, Patrick "Exicutioner" Grashorn made up them there matching Stags. I've got several sets of Stags from him now and they're AWESOME!!!
