Blooded the 350 Legend

Took a decent 135lb doe this evening right at the end of legal shooting time. 4:45 pm, approx 50 yard shot, she ran maybe 30 yards. High shoulder shot, pass through, took out top of heart and turned lungs to jelly. Completely destroyed one shoulder. CVA Cascade, Leupold VX Freedom firedot. Winchester deer season 180 gr soft points. Rained most of the day, stopped about 4:00 and if course started up again for the skinning and gutting. Meat in the freezer. Can take two more doe or one more doe and a buck in the county my cabin is in, so will hit it again in the morning.

Very Nice I bloodied my 350 Legend this season too. Opening day I shot a nice mature doe. Using the 170 Hornady SP a reload I made going 2320fps. Shot at 35 yards went less than 10 yards.

Going to use my 350 Legend as my summer truck gun with feral hogs and raccoons as the most likely targets, some in traps. I think it will do just fine.

Like to get my 223 HhR Handi-Rifle converted over to 350 legend.

I like that CVA Cascade. Would love to get my hands on one in 308 and give it a good looking at.
