Alright, in the interest of more pressing matters - namely, sleep - I have ceased my search for "helpful" threads and will just ask:
Are any of y'all familiar with Blue Wonder Gun Cleaner?

According to Cabela's,
"This concentrated Biodegradable Gel delivers penetrating deep-cleaning performance without noxious fumes or flammable liquids. It removes copper and lead deposits from the bore, powder residue and black-powder corrosion as well as plastic buildup from shotguns. And it removes rust without harming the gun's bluing."

Almost sounds too good to be completely true. Any thoughts?

I recall that when Novum was sending samples of it to 1911 forum members to try, some complained that it ate up their levi's if they got some on them.

I do have some of that "stuff". Used when I tried their "cold blue".

It smells good and seems to clean the bore. Meaning, a lot of 'black gunk" came out and the bore appeared to be clean. But I didn't have heavy leading or use a bore light, etc.

I'm not sure that "review" really helps you. I'm not fanatical on bore cleaning and I don't shoot match rifles where "cleaning" really seems to matter.

I have some it works pretty well, as well as any of the nasty solvent cleaners, but you do need to use a brush with it. I found it will remove lead from the cylinder face of a revolver with a brass brush, thats more then hoppes 7 or shooters choice will do. I am currently using Hoppes elite cleaner (m-pro 7 relabeled)as well. It may work better than Blue Wonder, and it has no smell, blue wonder smells like the ammonia cleaner the janitor used to clean the hall at my school.
