Ask your dealer if he uses Sports South as one of his distributors. They show 22 of them in stock as of this morning. The 38 Stingers must be selling well, I'm having a hard time finding any in stock. Good thing I guess.

I think the BBB one has BBB and buck mixed together.Wonder how the BBB Buck compares to the #4 Buck.
The last one, the 3", won't fire in my Bond as the barrel is only 3" and the last 1/2-inch is rifled. But I think did someone say the longer barrel Bond .410 can handle the 3"?
I just looked it up and the Meat Eater says,I think the BBB one has BBB and buck mixed together.
Yes. 3.5" and longer barrels fire 3" shells. There used to be a link on the Bond site to some extensive .410 handgun tests. The patterns of the 2.5" shells from a 3.5" barrel were significantly tighter than from the 3" barrel. Likewise, the patterns of 3" shells were significantly tighter from the 4.25" barrels than from the 3.5" barrels.Wonder how the BBB Buck compares to the #4 Buck.

Range Report on the Bond Derringer with .38/.357 barrel vs .45/.410 barrel here.
Summary, Federal 158 grain JSP .357 Magnum are brutal in the Bond Derringer, but another brand .357 was not as bad, similar to 250 grain .45 Colts. The 180 grain .45 Colt cowboy loads were similar to .WWB .38 Special, both a breeze to shoot.
I was at the range about 4 pm yesterday. The 20 250 grain .45 Colts and the 24 .357 Magnums did a job on my hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder--still sore 10 am next day.
When the Cyclops in .45-70 becomes available I'll likely get one. I'm not sure I'll be able to convince myself to shoot it.I am going to have to quit firing anything more than .38s and the 180 grain cowboy .45s out of that Bond.
Yeah, I reached the same point with my .357 barrel. I only shoot .38s out of it now.I am going to have to quit firing anything more than .38s and the 180 grain cowboy .45s out of that Bond. THis was Monday I shot all those heavy loads and my wrist is still bothering me three days later. No help that is the wrist that was hyper-extended in a fall back in the 1980s. Guess when you are in your mid 60s there are some things you just should not do the same way you might have done them in your 20s. No fun getting old, but as they say it is better than the alternative.
It can be some kind of gag or test. You need like a special grandiose case on the mantel for holiday guests. Ideally a backyard range to test their mettle. When the Cyclops in .45-70 becomes available I'll likely get one. I'm not sure I'll be able to convince myself to shoot it.
You got to shoot it at least once I don't know how my arthritis would like it but I would try itWhen the Cyclops in .45-70 becomes available I'll likely get one. I'm not sure I'll be able to convince myself to shoot it.
Both barrels so once is twice.Honestly, I think I will have to shoot it ONCE; just to say I did it.
No, according to what they showed at Shot Show it's a single shot; hence the name Cyclops. Both barrels so once is twice.
Oh that's right. Still a Derringer though. Well shoot it twice anyway,No, according to what they showed at Shot Show it's a single shot; hence the name Cyclops.
I bet if you flash that on social media anti-gun people will think it's some kind of real, fully single action assault derringer.Cyclops better IMO for a conversation piece to show off than this one, though I like 'em both!

Guys shooting the American Derringer .45-70 into a ballistic dummy. At 11:44. They also shoot .410 buck out of a larger pistol.
