Boss told me that I was getting a bonus today!!

Boss came to me this morning and told me that I would be getting a bonus today and told me word for word "we will call this your gun purchase bonus"

He gets a kick out of seeing my newest toys!! And knows how I enjoy shooting and collecting. He doesn’t mind all the gun porn i have at my desk and my b-27 silhouette hanging over my desk from when I took my CCW class.

He does expect to see the latest addition. I will gladly show him when I decide on what to get. Thinking maybe an SKS.

Very Very nice! Us gun nuts always think of thing in terms of guns... Like man, if I didn't get that speeding ticket I could have another AK. Or if you didn't order that extra desert and soda at dinner I could have another box of ammo.

Well, I guess your wife has no reason to complain when she finds out about your new shotgun. Of course, two new guns in less than a week might send her into a fit. I hope your couch is comfy. Ya know, the fun show is this weekend. Sounds like the perfect time to pick up a new toy and bring it out to the shoot afterwards.

I've been volunteering for some overtime at work (being salaried I'm lucky they pay for it, though is only straight time, no multipliers) and my wife said I should spend that money on gear and new rifle for the upcoming hunting season!

well I just got back from the range with my new Bersa Thunder .380 that my boss got for me. I have had it at the open range just shooting it to get the feel for it. Today I went to an indoor range to do a more controled shot. I plan to give a full range report later (when I can get to my digital cam). I am very happy with it.

I was scheduled for a review this month, and was supposed to get an increase, but was then told that the review had been postponed. (Because I ticked someone off, which may or may not be the case. I mean, I ticked her off, but she's not supposed to have influence over my compensation.) The very next day, I gave notice.

Hey, when you're offered a 19-mile-shorter commute, plus a 20% raise, PLUS a chance to tick some more people off, you take YES for an answer.
