Boston is a little more Libertarian than Anarchist. I have done some reading and research and my estimation of him has come up. Unfortunately I still can't quite justify 25 dollars for his book

Buy the book. It's worth the $25 - you can't even buy a bottle of good Scotch for $25. It's worth the money for the analysis of home defense firearms. Bible it's not, (THAT'S in the mind of the author) - reference manual is more like it.

I agree with your assessment - Libertarian all the way, and SHTF preparedness advocate as well. That said, the book has lots of useful information even if you are not preparing for the next revolution or civil war.

The book is well known. A short google will probably yield more information than you want.

As an introductory primer, the book has some utility. However, you can find just as much, if not more useful info by reading the posts of experienced shooters here and on other forums.

Boston's a bit of a tinfoil hatter, so that's something to be aware of, as well.
