I've moved into the world of Glocks. I traded-in my Kel-tec P32 and my brother bought my S&W 642.

Any idea if/where I can find a front pocket holster for the 26?

I had an Unlce Mike's for my 642 ($7.99 - Sidekick), but couldn't find a similar one on their website for the 26. I'd like to find the exact same thing for the Glock.

Greeting's All-

Well sportcat my friend, I probably would have
kept the S&W 642; but you're going to love the G26!
I bought a G27, instead of the G26; and wish I could
have afforded both. Found myself, dissatisfied with
.40 caliber weapons in general; favoring the larger,
slower delivery of the .45 ACP.

I do know quite a few people with the G26, and they
would rather "fight than switch"! :uhoh: Enjoy~

Best Wishes,

The 642 (probably revolvers in general) just didn't work for me, plus I'd rather have 11 rounds than 5.

I wish I could have kept the 642, but I needed the funds to buy the 26.

I have been pocket carrying a G-26 in the desantis nemesis for about 2 years now, and its the best pocket holster for it IMHO. I had an uncle mikes made out of the suedy stuff (it was actually the IWB with a clip).
The nemisis is under $20 delivered, and has a sticky outer cover that keeps it in place on the draw.

Personally, I think the G26 is a tad too big/heavy for pocket carry (just my opinion).

It is a great gun though. I really like shooting mine. Enjoy! :)

I just ordered the Nemesis; however, I hated paying $10.00 shipping for an $11.49 holster.

It's only going from TN to SC!

Heck, that's their PROFIT!!

I bought some Cigars, from a outfit in New York State. They had great prices on the box of Cigars....then proceeded to charge me $12.00 for GROUND freight, UPS.

I figgered out real quick where they make their money.

You might check out Cheaper Than Dirt -- they usually have good prices. Congrats on the Glock 26, wish I had one in my collection....:)

I carry the Glock 27 in a Galco PH286. With Levi jeans, and a good belt, it is very workable. The trick is to have a untucked shirt to cover the entrance to the pocket so it blends in well.

I too own a G26, but find it a tad to big to fit comfortably in the pocket, and without filing the pocket out too much.

I felt most comfrtable with a holster that sat high and close on my hip, thus concealing the G26 perfectly, with the small 10 round mag.

The problem is the 642 and the Glock 26 fill different tactical roles. The Glock is simply too big for pocket carry. Even if you find a pocket holster it will be painfully obvious where your glock is. The 642 fills the pocket gun role perfectly. The Glock on the other hand is a good belt gun and a general ccw weapon. Its one of the easiest small autos to conceal in a belt holster or shoulder rig. But a pocket gun it aint.

The Glock is NOT too big for pocket carry. I do it twice a week on day I go to the gym and don't want to hassel with Smartcarry. Just wear a nice sweater that does not tuck in and partially covers your front pocket.

So far, moms with kids have not screamed killer when I walked by. Police have not tackled me. And, no one at the office refuses to go into meetings with me.

It works. PLUS, I have learned a valuable secret since I started carrying. NO ONE CARES OR NOTICES ME. Sad, but true. I would probably have to run around naked with it in my hand to "print" for most people to have a clue.

As a mini glock owner I beg to differ. Also if you have to wear a sweater or a long shirt you could have concealed it in a inside the waste band holster. Which is a better location to carry a gun for speed of access.

This is a little off-topic, but since some others have mentioned favorite holsters for the 26, let me say that I have lots and lots and lots of 26 holsters. I have no sales resistance at all for holsters for the little beast.

And the best holsters I have found are:

IWB: Sidearmor

OWB: Fist Kydex

Ankle: Galco ankle glove.

Ditto much of the above. Love the G-26, but a bit heavy and bulky for routine pocket carry. Do it on occassion without holster - after removing the normally chambered round! Otherwise, it's sidearmor iwb or smartcarry.
