I'm trying to get a Bowling Pin match set up for my range. Does anyone have the spec's on exactly how to set one up? I need spec's on tables that can be reused and not stop the pin from falling off also. Any help would be appreciated...

Contact Jeff for more information.

Metal tables faced with angle iron to avoid ricochets. We've found that this lasts the longest. Also, ours have metal suspended horizonatally above the pin tables to avoid 'wandering bullets'.

If you need photos of our tables, I can probably take some digitals, otherwise, I'll bet that Jeff has some.

Hi Lady B,
Pin shooting is/was a passion of mine. There are many variations of "pin shooting" and not really any standard since the Last Chance matches of old.
We have used full sheets of 3/4" plywood for cheap tables , mounted on saw horses -- not as good as a metal faced table but it is cheap.
Some "classes" I have entered--- "Main" - 5 pins set one foot from the front of a 4x8 table , Nine Pin -- 9 pins set one foot from BACK of table , .22 class -- 5 pins set on very edge of the back of table and have also shot .22 at the "necks" that are sawed off of shot up pins, Shotgun -- 5 pins set one foot from front of table {buckshot only} and Revolver -- 5 pins set same as Main and have also shot Revolver where there were 7 pins with a required reload.
Try a search for "Second Chance Pin Shoots" or pm me for more info.
Have fun --- GF123

Mitchell A. Ota wrote a book on pin shooting.
The title is Pin Shooting: A Complete Guide.
Lots of good info in there.
