brass sticking in AR

If you shoot an AR, any make or model, I will pay you money if you can shoot 100 rds of wolf or tula ammo then empty a 30 rd mag of brass case ammo.

Just curious....how much are you paying?

Hmmm, I've never done exactly that but I have run 60 rounds of Tula as fast as possible and then leave a loaded brass case round in the chamber while it cooled.

The brass case PMC fired and extracted with no problems.

Guess it may involve a little more. But what sticks out in my memory, was doing a 100 rd dump of wolf and getting a couple of brass case fired before grid lock. Had to forcefully drive the case from the chamber, even thought it might separate. Haven't had that problem recur. I gave away a couple thousand rounds of wolf after it happened. Steel cases are strictly for my AK's.

I'm curious what kind of AR15 do you have with these issues?

Also how well lubed/maintained was the AR when you did this?

You can even put an extractor in your bolt that can pull a pickup truck, you will just rip the case. Ask me how I know! I carry a cleaning kit when going to the range and know I will be shooting steel case ammo. A stronger extractor is a good idea, but will not stop the problem the OP posted.

I will take you up on this offer with my new Colt6920. Tula223 is $6/box so I will buy 100rds to shoot first, then shoot a full mag of Brass 5.56 right after.

I will attempt to video the shoot and see if the brass ammo will get stuck or not.

Stay tuned....

Even my first AR - a Stag Arms which is pretty bad about stuck steel cases can pull this off. It takes a couple hundred rounds of steel before it gums up enough to be a problem.

Heck I don't want the money just send me the ammo to try it a couple times and let me take a crack at it, i'm sure there's some way to make it work and if not i'll have fun shooting at least.

Jojo, need to read post #29, I gave my steel case ammo to a co-worker. It occurred around early 2011, shooting a Bushmaster XM15-E2S with an A-1 upper. Gun was purchased new at the beginning of the assault weapons ban. Never did more than mop the chamber and brush/mop the bore. It received the same cleaning time frame/ method as my AK's. Ammo was Wolf polymer coated, never fired lacquer coated ammo in it. This is my last post on this, so as to return it to the OP.
