I have an old savage 99 I have been able to date it between 1950-1955 on the savage 99 website and I was wondering if I can break it anymore. As of right now I just clean the barrel and clean what I can out of the chamber and mag.

Its an old gun, in the unpopular caliber of 300 savage, but it was given to me by an old timer thats past away now , so I just love everything about it. Its accurate and has always done the job in a fashionable way.

any experts out that please fire away!!!
