to me. (Well, okay, I was good to myself, but I'll give him credit).

Found a Browning 1911 22 Compact NIB in one of my favorite Pawn shops.

No money out of pocket, the dealer took one of my pistols in trade (probably took advantage of me, dollar-wise, but I got what I wanted).

I have run a few rounds through it and I am quite pleased with its function (no problems) and its accuracy.

Anybody else got one of these?

Happy New Year!

Will

(Oh, also traded him out of a 1972 vintage Win 9422!)

I have a full-size (if you can call it that), not a Compact, but I really enjoy it. Fun little shooter and it's just so darn cute. I even bought the little GI-type holster for it. It eats up Federal bulk but I get better accuracy with Mini-Mags.

Have a number of .22 caliber 1911's......this is by far my favorite. Got it for the grandkids to shoot, fits their little hands nicely.

Okay. I want one of those anniversary pistol rugs.

Mine came in a plastic case :(.

Got mine a few months ago, and really like it, but I've not been able to find any additional mags for it. Midway had a moving target date all summer, but in about August, it was changed to say expect them in May, '13.:(

I fondled one at my lgs today. It may well become my first 1911. It seemed to me like a scaled down Commander.
The only thing about it that I didnt like was the $599 price tag dangling from it.
