I found this scuba diving in a lake, the blade is marked BUCK 527V USA. The blade length is 1 13/16" the OAL is 4 5/8" the weight is approx 1.7 oz.
The scales appear to be silver?
Does anyone have any info on this little pocket knife?

Neat find, somebody had a sad loss. Was it open or closed when you found it? I continue to find 1960-70's drink can tabs, man we did toss a lot of those things away. Seldom anything this nice.

Did you just see it laying on the bottom (not frequent in Floroida unless some one dropped it fairly recently) or did you "shoot" it with some sort of metal detector?

I do like that sort of little gentleman's knife.

I found the knife closed, about 100 yds from a dock. It must have been lost recently as things get covered up over time.
I like to dive around docks, and a ways from them this is where folks hit the throttle and lose stuff. Bridges and cliffs with deep water below are good to check jumpers lose a lot of stuff there.

Nice find! I have found a few knives over the years, but always on dry land!
