Nice! Like I said, budget can mean many things, some larger than others. This is the most I've spent on a gun, but I tried to save money where possible. I honestly just love tinkering, if they were cheaper I'd build one a week!

What length barrel is that?

I started my Junkyard build with this C7 upper I bought for $40.


The lower is an Anderson that I got on sale for $39 and a free transfer fee.
The barrel is a Olympic Arms 10.5 “ with a pinned flash hider that I bought from a forum member at a great price.
The rest of the parts were basically free, donated by forum members and friends.
I ended up with this.
It’s been 100% reliable.
