Ok I was about to order a Bushnell TRS-25, then started seeing some not so good reviews.

In the $150 range what is out there that's gives a decent quality?

The best one under $150.00 that I'm aware of is the Bushnell.

That would be my vote as well. For a budget optic the TRS-25 is tough to beat. I have also had mine on a 12ga without any issues. Eventually it will get replaced with an Aimpoint though.

Very impressed with the TRS, only small gripe is that you it doesn't have an on/off switch that let's you leave the brightness setting alone. Would rather have had that than 11 different brightness levels.....still a nice optic doe.

You can go super budget and get a FieldSport Micro for $20 and it has amazing reviews online. I've watched some good torture tests.

I keep going back to the trs25. You can catch them for near 50 bucks on sale. However, the holosun optics intrigue me. They can't be too bad, sig licensed them for their stuff.

I have a TRS-25 that has been on several long guns without any issues, holds zero, bright, no problems whatsoever. Good red dot for those who can't afford the Trijicons and such. I have the AR Optics TRS-32 on my BREN 805, and while it works extremely well, the BIG dot is a hindrance at ranges past 100 yards for precision work of any mind. Might just grab another TRS-25. ;)

My local gun shop stocks Sightmark reflex sight. I bought one of the cheaper versions several years ago. It has both red or green multi reticle, variable brightness, quick detach base.
It worked so well that I bought the high end mil-spec version for my last AR project.

I would recommend them. They have been good sights. The cheaper version is on my son's AR.

I would buy another one.....
Around $80 iirc.

I bought a couple TRS-25s. I wasn't impressed. I mounted one on an AR and the front glass fell off, and then I discovered that the warranty didn't cover that defect.

My Aimpoint PRO on the other hand has been perfect so far. My next red dot will also be a PRO.
