I'm betting its a mis-print in the Guns & Ammo magazine blurb.
Don't see how its possible to do this without going way over +P pressures.
The 125gr at 1050fps I might believe.
Color me skeptical. Won't be the first ammo manufacturer's velocity claim to be BS.

Doesn't surprise me a bit, Tim has cranked out some amazing ammo over there, and has given some of his secrets out to us handloaders over the years...it will do what he claims and it will do it with safe pressures (he watches them carefully).
Keep in mind he is sometimes using special powders that arn't availble to the genneral public...with the right powder...most anything is possible. - JM.

I'll believe it after a few third parties have indpendently chrono'd it.
Maybe he's really done somthing special. I'd likely buy some if it really delivers what is claimed.

Well out of a 2" M&P I used to load enough Blue Dot under a 173 grain Keith to get 1050 fps! Seemed not as hot as 110 grain +p+ treasury loads using a .0001 mike and "reading" primers ect. Lead bullets develop less pressure and can get 100-200 more fps than same weight in jacketed version.This load recoiled too much for my detective specials and I didn't try it in J frames as it for sure would be stupidly uncontrollable! 158+p loads at around 900-950 fps seem the outside limit in contollabilty for a 20-22 oz gun.800- 850fps is better for smaller/lighter guns and is all you need for 158grain LSWCHP to do what they are designed to do!

Yes, I fired a box of them through my SP 101 (3" bbl) and I can attest this is a STOUT round! I can easily believe they get 1000+ fps out of it as it really felt very little different than a medium .357 rd fired from same gun (like the Golden Sabre).
The difference between the Buffalo Bore round and the more traditional FBI load was VERY noticeable. I'm sure it would be a good round, but at the price they retail at, plus shipping and handling, they get pretty pricey to practice with to a reasonable level of proficiency.
Which is why I decided to stay witheither the traditional 158+p round or go with the Golden Sabre in .357. I can pick up the G/S in my area for 12-13$ a box of 25, allowing me reasonable economics with respect to practice with a carry round.
As well, I thought, if you have a .38 spl round that kicks just marginally less than a medium .357, why not simply go with the .357 round? Especially if a name brand SD round like the Golden Sabre is available.
