Hey guys. Did a little shooting today with my dad. He has a toxk iaslan 1911 in 10mm with a reflex mounted on the slide.

This the first time hes taken it out with the reflex sight. Gun has less than 100 rounds through it.

He was sighting it in with underwood 220gr hard casts and got light strikes after a few rounds. Than it stopped firing all together. He tried another brand of ammo with no luck.

I took a look and looked like the end of the firing pin is jagged/uneven (broken?). What do you guys think?

This is the best pic i have on hand at the moment. 20221113_155718.jpg

Was getting light strikes on my used (to me) Ronin in 9 MM. Gun was only 1 1/2 yrs. old. Called the Armory and in 4 days got a new pin and spring N/C

I had a Springfield RO that had a sharp raised ring around the firing pin hole that would punch holes in the primers and the punched pieces would stack up against the firing pin. After three or four punches the gun would not fire and the breech face looked like what you have pictured. If any of your brass has pierced primers, this may be the problem. Touching up the breech face with a fine stone cured the problem.
