What brand and model of holster is the modern one on the right side of the picture?

That looks like the CZ 82 9mm MAK Chzeck police surplus that you got from a CZ 82 purchase a while ago. There are still some left to pick up. Mine was very well made. Good stuff for sure.

Yea. CZ82 police holster that came with a CZ82 I wish I still had. Like I said. Maks fit well in CZ82 holsters. Have a Chech shoulder holster too.

$400 is a good price. Atlantic has a few for sale right now in the $440 to $450 range.

The one in the box looks new, unfired, and the internals still caked in cosmoline. $400 back in January. Been wanting one for nostalgia purposes as my dad had an East German one when I was a kid and I had a Bulgarian in my early 20’s. You know how you always want the guns from your youth. Then the one on the right came in February. $325. I didn’t need it but thought ef it! Why not? I think I have a problem. I hope you enjoy it. They are fun guns to shoot and a classic.

Oh. CZ82 holsters do fit Makarovs if you have one lying around.

I surrender! You definitely got the best deal going on these at that price. And given the condition of yours you definitely got it for a steal. They are indeed fantastic guns.....fired mine for the first time today....

Unfortunately the magazine that came with the gun was absolutely and 100% garbage. I'm so happy I bought some real surplus mags before I took it out. Of the surplus mags I fired 100rds through each one and experienced absolutely no failures. The one that came with the pistol has an aluminum base plate and noticeably wider feed lips. Every single shot that mag would try to feed 3 rounds and would automatically jam up.

Overall I'm still happy with this gun and it's proven very very accurate as well. Cheers
