What do you know about low charge SWC! 9mm??!!I would have happily paid that, chances are very good it will shoot well for you. imho course, but I would have had a hard time passing that up.
And yes, 9MM 1911s are a hoot.
not the ugly C-9??? reallyDon't know if I should reply to your post but I'll give it a try. I know nothing about your particular gun except it certainly looks good and I love shooting 9mm in 1911's. I can't really tell in the photos but those grips might be a little chewy on my tender ol' hands although they do complement the overall look.
Give it a good range workout and report back on how it shoots.
Hi Point does make a 9mill although it is NOTHING like a 1911. Shooting the same cheap FMJ off the same rest, one following on the heels of the other, guess which turned in the smallest groups, my 1911 or my gift Hi Point C-9.
It’s a OK deal, but I do like used guns. And either it came with the right mags ( thanks for the link @Steve in Allentown ) or someone already figured out a functional mag for the gun. <<< that half the battle with 1911’sI do not have any experience with the Bul 1911 but I have a Springfield Range Officer, Colt Commander and Colt Gold Cup all chambered in 9x19. They are fun to shoot and their accuracy is better than I can shoot.
Looks like you got a good deal.
not the ugly C-9??? really
Really. Even with the cheesy trigger that feels kind of like sponge rubber and not the best grips ever made either and it still beat them all.
they should do a 1911 in .25 ACPBeautiful guns in any caliber are the 1911's. I have them in 45 acp, in 10mm and am ready to buy one in a .380, the Browning Black Label. Am not familiar with Bull company, anyway Congratulations.
I’m going to like Glock one day. It takes skills to shoot a Glock good!Had one and sold it wasn"t my cup of tea.It was a SA Range officer elite .Im a Glock guy and like my Glocks better.I tried is all I can say.Your experiences may vary.
Having trained many folks to shoot Glocks, I can assure you that the skill level required are less than you seem to think. It's one of the reasons, after cost, that the platform became so popular in LEI’m going to like Glock one day. It takes skills to shoot a Glock good!
haven’t shot my Glock in years! I should bust out my 17L and tryHaving trained many folks to shoot Glocks, I can assure you that the skill level required are less than you seem to think. It's one of the reasons, after cost, that the platform became so popular in LE

once you start shooting DA revolvers, then you really get good at shootingOnce you start shooting 1911's you are hooked.
work in my sight picture and speed! can’t wait to shoot a all steel 9mm 1911For pure, cheap, soft shooting fun it's hard to beat an all steel 1911 9mm. I loaded some 124gr with 4.8gr WSF for a light shooting load. It'll function in the full size SIG Match Elite 9mm running a 12lb recoil spring and is pretty accurate. Probably the lightest recoiling CF pistol I've ever shot. The DW Guardian chokes on that load though. Had to bump it up to 5.0gr. but it's pretty fun too.
The Missouri 125 SWC worked well for me in both a Kimber 1911 and a 17L.What do you know about low charge SWC! 9mm??!!
everything seam to go back to SWC or full Wadecutter for accuracy. Don’t get me wrong, I still love them MAGNUMS!! but if punching holes on paper is your goal!!! Wade Cutters!
They were all cheap when they made 2.7 million of them for the US military. Still being made by lots of folks in lots of countries. Some just need a new barrel bushing, better sights and a trigger job. And away we go Alice.100% I’m going to run this 9mm 1911 with every thing I can throw at it!!!
I’m finally able to get to the range 1-2x a week! I want to do a comparison between dirt cheap 1911 vs high end 1911’s (no we not talking about your hand crafted by angels 1911’s that cost $89,000… )
yeah… I’m rethinking those $4,000 1911 as shooters. Man Jewlery!!! YES do you !!They were all cheap when they made 2.7 million of them for the US military.
