I have done a search but did not find what I was looking for. I am relaoding 7.62X 39 in my LCT with Lee dies. I know (think) this is not an ideal press for loading rifle because of the movement of the turret. It loads great handgun ammo but leaves me with anywhere from .03 to .015 runout. My factory Wolf ammo seams to run about .05 consistantly. Being new to loading rifle I don't know if it's the dies, press, or techneique. I try to keep everything as consistant as I can but still come up with what I believe is to much runout.
What would be considered acceptable runnout? Or, stated another way, at what point does runnout become detrimental to accuracy?
