Bushmaster Carbon-15 (Quick Question)

Can anyone confirm that the Bushmaster Carbon 15 CA (or any current-production Carbon-15) will accept and function with standard AR-15 upper reciever/barrel assemblies? I'm pretty sure they will fit, but I haven't been able to confirm this. A friend is about to buy one based partially on this understanding and I want to verify it for him. It seem odd that I can't find anything about this on the Bushmaster web site (I would think it would be a common question and a touted feature).

yes, they do. but, you may want to see if your friend would be interested in a "Off-List Lower" instead. there are plenty of threads here as well as www.calguns.net that discuss this.
