Alrighty guys so I’m pretty much set on owning a Ruger SR9 I like the size, the magazine capacity, and the over all feel and look of the gun. Any advice about the SR9, pros, cons, anyone that owns one that loves it or hates it- Thanks

If it is made as well as the P series, then in 15 years or so you can let us know how you like it. You'll probably go broke trying to wear it out.

Try running a search here or at rugerforum.com there have been some problems turnung up, mostly due to magazine problems and some metal peening on thr top of the chamber. I like the look and feel of the SR9 but am probably going to wait a while before getting one

I like my SR9 very much. Not a lot of rounds through it yet but like the way it shoots and handles. The grip is very comfortable for me and this to me is an important feature. Have had other Ruger guns and have always been pleased with how they preformed. My 1022 is a excellent weapon and a great tree rat gun. I can't really make a good opinion on the SR9 until I put a lot of rounds through it but I live within walking( maybe jogging) distance of Ruger so if it is not as good as my other Rugers, I can throw it through the front window as per. the tire commercials  !! As soon as the snow goes away up here in the high country I can get back to testing this nice looking gun :D

You ask for advice? Ok, don't buy one yet. There's way to many issues to work out with them! I'd wait two years before buying this pistol, and if you can't wait that long just buy something else.
