I am in need of a C&R Bound book, any Recomendations. I kinda really need to get one coming. I just bought two Mosins on my C&R about 5 min ago and have yet to find a bound book. I really need one before the Mosin's arrive.

I bought a real nice C&R package from a husband and wife team in California, but I can't remember their name.

I think I found them on Cruffler.com.

You can also get one from Brownells.com.

I downloaded one in Excel format.I think I got it from cruffler.com.Even a general ledger book will do,just as long as you have headers of

I use the PDF that Hkmp5sd linked above (but I've only bought 1 gun since I got my C&R so I guess I could use a cocktail napkin if I had to :p )

Thanks for the info guys. I saved the PDF file and will use it if the book I found at Brownells isn't correct, or it doesn't show up on time. I got my C&R for the heck of it. But let me tell you the savings at Brownells and Midway are more then worth it. I just orderd a bound book(hope its the right one) a trigger for my Savage, a Mosin book, and some AR15 mag followers. And the only thing I could find any cheaper was the followers.

The 30 dollars for the C&R is worth it just in savings at Brownells.

What exactly do you need to put for "Type"? Are they wanting to know if it's a Rifle, Shotgun, Pistol or Revolver or do they want to know if it's Bolt-Action, Semi-Auto, Pump, etc?

Thanks. I finally moved all my records into excel so that I can print it out for the book. It prints regular portrait on 8.5x11 (left page for the acquisition and then right page for the disposition). If anyone wants a copy, here it is.

I also use Excel but print the page landscape and use helvetica 10 point. Everything fits on one page just fine. On a few occassions, I've had to use 9 point type on a long name.
