The only thing I'm waiting on now is this packet that everyone says comes first.

My first license arrived in July 2000 took 87 days That was a long wait

I am currently out of town so I can't see what it says or looks like, but I was told that something came in yesterday in a blue envelope and there was an 8x10 piece of paper or something. Is that the licenses? I was told that it said to make copies before signing it, which I already know, but I thought that it would be smaller than that. I guess I'll find out in about a week when I get home.

The upper half is the license. The lower half is a letter from Dept. of Treasury/BATF National Licensing Center with instructions.

Received mine yesterday & they screwed up on my name. Put my middle name first, then last and first name. I've been on the phone trying to contact a human all day about this. Anybody had the same problem?

Yesterday (Monday) was the six week mark for me. They charged my credit card three days after I mailed it in, so I know they have it. Still waiting.

Mailed mine yesterday 3/28. My application packet did not have a citizenship card?
But the app. did ask questions about citizenship.

Same thing happened with mine.I got on the phone
and actually talked to the batf woman in charge of California.Had a new license in less than a week!
I thought it was going to be .gov hell.

So. I mailed off my app on October 1st. I've called our good friend willy jeter(sp?) about once or twice a month since December. never once got her on the phone. left a message each time. today I called her at 9am. left a message. she called back at 10:15 to let me know that they found my long-lost application, and that I was approved! I should reciever my license within 10 days.

only took 8 1/2 months!!! :banghead:

Took a little longer than I expected, but I wasn't in a hurry to get it.

Application sent on 2/14/05, license received on 6/16/05.

Getting Rediculous

Alright, what the heck is going on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been waiting almost 6 months. ATF sent me a letter that they needed final disposition of charges on a misdemeanor I had about 7 years ago. Sent the letter with court documentation about the middle of March. I have honestly called over 50 TIMES!!. Most of the time the lady voicemail is full, and I cant even leave a message. I have left about 7 voice-mail messages to call be back if there is problems with my application, and I never get a call back. I have talked to a real live person twice, and both times they said the person in charge was not there, and they would look into my application. Seriously, how many people have got their licenses in MN since Jan 18th?
