CA CCW - Advantages

I'd rather just render this a moot point by moving to Oregon, but the family, girlfriend, friends, job are all here in the Bay Area. If I could convince the girl and the friends to move, so long see ya later! Oh well...so I apply and keep practicing.

I just don't think I should have to GO anywhere BUT America to find that freedom. And, despite what Fienstien would have us belive, California IS part of America! (film at 11:00...)

But at the same time, I respect those who have decided their personal trade-offs do not indicate California as the best option any more.

I am just tired of being told to run if I want to excercise my freedom. The very idea that I cannot excercise it right here, in America, offends me personally. And I don't get mad, I get even. If they (DOJ) want to bust me with cosmetics (assault weapons), I will bust them on semantics (definitions of terms used, letters, mounting an M2HB to my vehicle, etc.).
 
I can understand people wanting to stay - we miss CA quite a lot.

But the idea of raising my children there is troublesome at best.
 
artherd put it very well, but I would add one little data point; all the people urging Cali residents to 'move to America' need to think about this- do you
really want a bunch of Californians moving to your state? Or would you rather we stay here and try to fix what's broke?

And before you answer, I suggest you ask some residents of Oregon and Washington state.
 
There's nothing wrong with Californians moving to my state, as long as they leave California's politics behind them and start promoting and voting for freedom instead.

Yeah, people in OR and WA love Californians moving up here there used to be a casino ad with a map of the western US that had California missing and replaced with the pacific ocean the text said "luck happens"
 
We need to keep voting, encouraging others to vote and educate the sheeple... VOTE!

Funny how there's a lot of California bashing out of state but in state you don't hear people talking bad about new arrivals from other states.
