Cabela's & Bass Pro not buying??

Don't have a Cabela's here, and never attempted to sell a gun to the local bass pro, but I will say this: The long guns for sale in the used gun racks (2 of them) at the Bass Pro make me laugh so hard I nearly cry every time I look at them. They are the most gawd-awfully, ridiculously priced items on the planet. They are looking to take people's heads clean off (which in my view is not a good way to do long-term business, but oh well). Bass Pro's used rack make gun show pirates look like Mother Teresa. Everything in there is at least twice blue book, and 90% of the items are priced higher than they would be NEW!
Saw an old Remington 11-48 there, the receiver was so rusted there wasn't any blue left, just orange. They wanted $450 for it. I thought that was pretty ridiculous. Have to say though, they don't seen any semi-auto rifles there, and no semi-auto shotguns that aren't equipped for hunting, but there were a ton of people in line to buy a gun.

I was at Cabela's yesterday in Fort Worth and they didn't have many hunting type guns available. There were only 3 short racks of them and most were shotguns. The library was full. People were standing in line to buy.

I stop by Cabelas about once a week, and the used racks are pathetic. The guns are usually in mediocre-to-rough shape, and priced near new retail. Some of their used guns are priced HIGHER than the same exact new gun at Walmart or Academy.
