Store employees are made to push credit cards. You can’t blame the guy for that. It sucks but it’s life. If it’s not credit cards it’s a donation at the register. Or it’s something else. Sadly retail has become push push push. It’s why many do as little shopping in brick and mortar stores and buy as much as we can online. And even there there’s upselling and suggestive selling.

Cabela’s in Avon? That’s a lot of money for a revolver but then all guns seem expensive to me.

Instead of undoing try to go from here and build a strong foundation in shooting skills with her.

I'd say the Cabela's counter guy knows more about guns than you. That model 60 is a better shooting gun than your 642. If she's going to be a shooter, she'll need practice. 38s out of that 60 will be night and day.

When the employee tells someone they cant use FMJ ammo they have to shoot hollow points its either the manager telling them push hollow points or he really doesn't know jack about firearms and will get someone hurt!

Because FMJ are safer than hollow points???....!

Wow, I hope the OP cools down. There are two sides to every story. Give the salesman a break before you go chopping his head off. Was this a grown woman? Seems to me, she should be able to make her own choices. Do you have to go shopping for all her needs? As far as cards go, just common sense. They did just get invented yesterday. The OP also made the woman feel foolish. Not a good start. Belittling her sucks. And who says she made a bad purchase. The OP is quick to pull the trigger. NOT GOOD.

Your right i honestly don't like them because they do legitimately suck!

And that’s what this is really about - taking a friend’s ignorance and trying to spin it that Cabela’s somehow swindled her because you don’t like Cabela’s.
