I think their Walkers are Uberti's........... most of the othrs are Piettas I beleive. If he is wanting a Walker I have a "NICE" one for sale possibly ;)

Sometimes iffy form what I have read. What model are you looking for?

Yep Indian Outlaw they sell'em alright........

Hey NobleSniper:
Well; I've already ordered one. The 1849 .31cal Pocket Revolver, not the Wells Fargo which is similar. It was a case of over anxiety. For the past 3 months I've been trying to get a Cimarron, but there's none in country, and it isn't on the list of those coming in country either.:banghead:

So I jumped at the one at Cabela's before giving it some consideration. So, Noble Sniper, I'm really hoping for the best, but like you say I'm feelin iffy about it. But I'm hopin for the best.

Cabelas is great about returns, the best in the buisiness. If by some stroke of bad luck, you got a lemon, they will take it back, and repair or replace your pistola or refund your money. They will make it right.

Avoid revolvers with brass frames. Not only are brass-framed revolvers more prone to wear out when using full-power loads, brass-framed revolvers are generally more poorly made.
Their fit and finish is almost always not as good as a steel-framed model.
Cabela's and other catalog companies push the brass-framed guns because people have awakened to their shortcomings. For a few bucks more, get a steel model and you'll almost certainly have a revolver with better fit and finish.
Yes, there are exceptions and some brass-framed guns of high quality are occasionally encountered, but on the whole brass-framed guns are not as well made as their steel brethren.

Hi; Gatofeo: My brass 1860 Army Pietta was mfg'd in the early 90's. I figure it is an exception. I abused it early not knowing then about heavy loads or cleaning. Forgot about it for a few years, and it froze up good. After careful cleaning and pampering, you'd never know of its past. Other than replacing nipples and a few screws because of the neglect, it works fine. I do have extra parts just in case, but this ole brass revolver keeps on shootin. I don't shoot often, and when I do it's not over 50 rounds or so. As slow as I am, it takes a long time to shoot fifty black powder loads.
