can anyone clarify about ruger warranty on new pistols

i bought a new ruger .380 lcp and was reading about the warranty on the back on the manual and it says the paragraph about they dont put a warranty in the package for their guns due to stipulations laws have put limiting warranty so my question is how far long and what am i covered on when i purchase a ruger please help im very interrested thanks ahead of time
 
That must be why they offered me a discount on a new gun when the bolt on my Mini14 blew up in my face...

I even had a receipt and the printed lifetime guarantee. The answer was, we don't offer that guarantee anymore, but if you want to buy another one you can have it at...

That's just CYA from the lawyers. In fact, Ruger's non-warranty service is better than many manufacturers warranty service. They'll often fix your gun for free even if you're not the original owner and it's your fault that the gun broke.
 
I had repairs done on a nearly 40-year-old Super Blackhawk (for prior damage done by a third party), no charge. Not having a written warranty is not the same as, nor does it mean, they will not stand behind and service their products.
