Can someone please tell me the difference between the Rem 700 SPS and 700 ADL?

The title says it all...

There are so many model 700's at this point, that I don't know the difference and the Remington website doesn't address this at all.

If a guy can get a .223 ADL for the same price as a .223 SPS, which should he choose?

thanks,

As best I can tell, the SPS has a drop floorplate instead of a blind magazine and roughly replaces the BDL in the line. I have a couple of stainless SPS rifles that I specifically bought because they came with 24" tubes in non-magnum chamberings, whereas the ADL (and most other brands of bolt action rifles) came with 22" non-magnum tubes.

The SPS would be a step up from the ADL.
