Can you tell me about the Savage 12 FV

Showing $319.99 on cabelas.com as of 11:06pm central time Sept 15, 2017. With the $100 prepaid visa offer from Savage. That's showing as the listed price, and is showing as that price when I add it to my cart. The pre-paid card is an independent Savage driven offer - so you're talking $219.99 net.
The $25 thing is the cabela's visa card application offer - if you take out their credit card, you get $25 in points automatically, or off of your first purchase that day... So if you applied you'd get $319.99 price, minus $25 in points, plus sales tax, then rebated $100 from Savage, good for something on the order of $218.99 net price for me, living with 7.5% sales tax, plus the 44cents to mail the rebate form. All in for $219.43 for a Savage 12 ain't a bad deal. Can't buy the bare action for that little usually, no trigger, barrel, or stock.

I ordered one last weekend as well. Shows on tag be on sale to 20th. I got 6mm Creed day before I put on layaway 100 off plus rebate. Model 12 didn't show rebate when I paid but did use points out door price for $304.

Last night I replaced the Accutrigger with a Timney trigger.
Last night I replaced the bolt handle with a Glade bolt handle.
I put a Glade bolt handle on my Ruger American and I really like it. I didn't realize they made one for the Savage. I guess I will have to get one.
So, if these are on sale until the 20th, I am still tempted to order another one in .223: and then buy a .300 BO barrel, and a 6.5 Grendel barrel, and a 450 Bushmaster barrel.
