This question is really for any fire arm historians, collectors or dealers.
How can you tell if your new fire arm purchase today could end up being the must have collectors peice of the future?
HEre is the deal. As most folks here knows, I bought a Kimber 10mm a while back. It has given me some fits as it is real finicky about it's ammo and loadings. I have considered selling/trading it for somthing else but then I came accross some interesting information. This 10mm is # 838 of only 1000 made by Kimber then they quit. They never made a 10mm before but they did say they would make more in the future, but this one is a first run.
So now I think, Could this end up being a colectors gun? Could it become very rare? Could this be my retirement fund?
What do you guys think?
