I'm thinking about getting a Sig P226 from J&G and i would like to know if the
.22lr and the .40 S&W caliber change kits will work with it.

the .22lr kit most likely will, depending on the frame of the model you get

the .40 won't, you can only go from a larger calibre down, you can't go up on any 226

i thought the 9mm and the 40 had the same frame. and its a 9mm non railed frame that i'm looking at.

No the 9mm will not take a 40 S&W conversion.

You can take a 40 S&W and swap the barrel with a .357 Sig. You can then get a barsto conversion barrel and make a 40 S&W or .357 Sig a 9mm.

I believe the 22L conversions only work on newer guns.

NOTE: May not properly fit older West German P226 models with serial numbers starting with U0 or U1
