It would take a tremendous amount of skill to even hit a 20' x 20' garage at 2 miles. To hit a person takes that much skill and also a tremendous amount of luck. Any change of temperature, wind, movement of the person will result in a miss. Any tiny variations in the ammo will throw all your calculations out the window at 2 miles.

Guys, there was a lot of luck and some specialized equipment to make this happen. Most scopes and mounts would have run out of adjustment for such a shot. Maybe he used a prism of sorts to beef up his scope magnification and get more elevation, but even then this shot was a lot of luck. Lots can happen to a bullet traveling that far. Not saying these guys aren't skilled by any means, but from my experience a shot like this requires as much luck as skill. I suppose if the person stood still or stayed at the same range the whole time then it's possible it could have been walked in with spotted misses from a forward observer. Either way, not an easy shot.
