Can't use PayPal to pay for guns?!

Paypal and Ebay are both extremely anti-gun
^^^^This.
I see a lot of ads accepting "discrete" Paypal. If you wish to put money into the pockets of those who adamantly and actively work to oppose your rights...I honestly have to wonder about your thought process.

I spoke with a high level supervisor and the response I got was, " we do not want to open ourselves up to law suits by overzelous attorneys who are looking for someone to sue over something.

Basically, the thinking is, If we (paypal) allow you to use our service then if you buy a gun and missuse it and lawsuits fly, we could be named in a suit.

This reasoning does not make sense. There are thousands of items sold on ebay that could cause an injury. For example, you could buy a coffee maker and then spill hot coffee on yourself. Time to contact a lawyer. :what:

I see this two ways, the first is that they are covering their own butts, the second is through my own eyes. If you think their policies are bad, just wait till you have to work for their employees. They are some of the rudest and most spoiled employees I have ever met and all they do is complain and the majority I have met are extremely liberal (take that how you will). Having said that, regardless of how "antigun" they are, I see that they are covering their own butts and I respect that in a business model because it is the SAFE way to handle situations that are potentially illegal. I don't see it as an infringement on my rights at all, nor do I see it as them working against our 2A rights. Are they funding and supporting the Brady Campaign? I doubt it.

I see the difference between supporting those who work against us (or actively working against us) and covering their own butts legally. They do not do the first to my knowledge.

I don't use PayPal! They have ALWAYS been against guns and gun owners. I am surprised other gun owners didn't warn you about PayPal.

Another company to stay away from is GPal (Used to be GunPal), this company is not paying their patrons. I still have not been paid since Aug. 2010 on transactions my customers had paid. GPal was suppose to be a PayPal but geared for guns and gun owners.
