I carry either my Glock 43 @ 6+1 or my Glock 48 @ 10+1. And, no matter which I ALWAYS have my NAA Blackwidow in .22 WMR @ 5rds tucked in my pocket.

Heading for Sunday breakfast in an Amish restaurant way out in the country.
I have 11 rounds in a CZ Rami, not going to carry a spare mag this morning.

It depends on my mood (I have a UT non-res permit that I use out of state). I suspect it will be more standardized once I can carry nearly everyday (I'm still waiting on my MD application to be processed):

1) 5 or 6: snub. In the past, a Taurus 85CH or S&W 442 (sometimes both). The past 2-3 years, a Taurus 856 and/or Colt King Cobra (new model). Occasionally, I still take the 85CH.
2) 14 or 15 + 1: CZ PCR or P01 (I have 2 14 round and 2 15 round mags)
3) 10 or 15 +1: S&W M&P 40c (1st gen). I have a 10 round flush mag and a 15 round mag with sleeve from the full sized M&P.

In the past:
4) 6 or 8 + 1: My SIG P290RS probably got carried more than everything combined other than the snub (10-15 years of ownership vs. 5 or 6 for the CZs, and 8 or 9 for the M&P). I also carried my S&W 1911Sc (Commander sized scandium 1911, 8 round mags). I only carried my Officer sized RIA 1911 a few times (6 round mags) before I stopped carrying 1911s, but combined, my 1911s did once get a lot of carry time (I think my .

In the future:
  • I have a SIG P365 that I recently bought that will likely be my most carried on my MD permit. I don't know if I'll use the 10 round or 12 round mag more.
  • I bought (in the MD 7 day waiting period to pick up) a Glock 19 that will probably be my 2nd most carried. I'll use it with 15 round mags as soon as I buy some (I can buy standard mags out of state and bring them home legally, but I can't buy them here, and the gun will come with neutered 10 round mags).

4.6” barrel For AIWB? I guess as long as you never sit down or bend over…

That is a way to say you have not tried it without saying you have not tried it.

I carried a Glock 19 AIWB for years, moved up to a 17/22 which is actually more comfortable and was surprised when the 34/35 worked; if I I had not given it a try I would have thought it too long. I've got red dots on a 34. 35 and now a 22, one of those is always on me if I'm wearing shorts.
A Glock 34 is about the same size as a 1911 - which many people carry concealed.

Glock 34 - L 8.8'' / H 5.5'' / width 1.3'' / weight 26 oz
1911 - L 8.7'' / H 5.5'' / width 1.4'' / weight 42 oz

Yes, you’re right there. I’m Also saying that I cannot imagine how it would work. Can you tell us how it works even though it doesn’t seem like it would work? How does it NOT poke you in the tender parts when you bend over or sit down?

Unless youre a fashionista, and wear things like low riding, hip hugger jeans/pants,etc, it shouldn't be an issue. If you have a "Dunlop", it might be, but Ive carried that way with a bit of a "lay off" belly in the past, and it was still comfortable and doable. The less belly, and the higher waisted the pants, the easier and more comfortable it is though, but that also goes for however you carry.

Holsters can make a difference too. Ive used single attachment point Blade Tech "Ambi Klipt" and Im currently using a Suarez double clip "Gunfighter". The Blade Tech is more forgiving and allows the holster to move more with you, so it sorta "self adjusts". The Suarez is more fixed in place, but still very comfortable. I prefer the Suarez.

When I sit down, the bottom of the holster is just barely touching the top of my thigh. and really isnt noticeable, unless I think about it. Bending over isnt an issue either, and the advantages there, carrying-wise, are very obvious, compared to ~4:00 carry. Nothing prints or pops out, and you can protect the gun much easier.

Riding in the car, or just seated anywhere, I can easily access the gun too, and with little, if any telegraphing.

If you havent carried that way, I would recommend you give it a try and see if t works for you. I wish now Id switched a lot sooner than I did.

Here is the 34.5 and holster I carry it in; muzzle goes between leg and tender parts.
If I want/need a change in contact point, then I have the 22.5 and its holster goes to the end of the muzzle, so it feels different.

Here is a Glock 17 in the holster from above, muzzle just sticks out a little.
The 22.5 is on right (gen 5 Glock 40 has thicker slide) 22.5 now has a dot and thanks to Dremel ;) still uses same holster.

35.4 (can use same holster as 34.5) and 22.5 - pictured after enhancement with dot.

I can't decide if my favorite is the 34.5 or 22.5 - I like the gen 5 Glocks.

Often a series 70, most often a Baby Chief. 8 or 5 is plenty.

Here are a couple of videos with Spencer Keepers, the owner of Keepers Concealment, one of the top AIWB holsters makers. His carry guns have typically been a G34/G35 or Beretta 92
