I suppose a cute picture of a cuddly kitten would be ok?

No thanks. I'll take mine plain (but not from CapOne). Same as the bumpers of my vehicles.

I stopped using my card as a result of this policy about a year ago. Unfortunately, my only other card is a Discover, so I occasionally wind up using it anyway.

I canceled my Discover card the other day. Turns out that I wasn't using it enough, so they reduced my credit limit to only $500 (from around $7K, IIRC). I had gotten to where I only used it at Sam's Club anyway, but when Sam's started taking MasterCard, I didn't need it anymore. I decided that they really didn't want my business, so I just canceled it. I had a couple of automated payments going to it and some cashback points which I had to use up on an Amazon purchase first though. So, between CapitalOne and Discover, that's 2 less pieces of plastic in my wallet... Need to get rid of some more so that I can actually *close* the wallet though... :)

No, CapitalOne is anti-controversy.

They deny all sorts of images.

This is the correct answer. They don't want "CapitalOne" and their logo printed right next to the picture of a pistol, thereby associating the two. They have a vested interest in how the logo representing their company is displayed.

If you submitted a picture of a scantily-clad woman and it was denied, would you post on the internet that they are anti-hetrosexuality? Contrary to what is a popular theme here, not everything revolves around whether a person, movie, company, country, or fictional character is pro-gun or anti-gun.
