I just wonder how much of a heat signature those little engines have. Getting a Stinger or SA-7 Grail up your pantleg would kind of ruin your day. :uhoh:

M2 Carbine, I see those things all over the valley, especially when the weather is particularly nice, or the leaves are changing color. Maybe I'll have to read up on 'em. :)

M-2 Carbine - thank you for the economical home model. Hopefully Al Qaeda doesn't read THR. :D

Just like the astronauts in space, right?
I dunno, I guess?
Seems like astronaughts are a bit better protected, but from what I've heard going between the extremes (In the sunlight = very hot, in the shadow = very cold) is very noticeable by astronaughts.

Just today, a friend who was a HALO instructor showed me a picture of them fixing to leave the plane at 32,000 feet. They were dressed for the cold.:)

He said they jumped higher than that but had to show a lower altitude in their log books due to regulations.

He's not too enthused about this wing thing.

No guns? Give that Brit a soccer ball and you have truley achieved death from above.

(In the spirit of world cup and England's 1-nil win)
