I prefer Federal for everything, pistol, rifle, shotgun!

But I like and buy most manufacturers:

Federal (I like all there ammo- and Love there 12ga Prem Turkey Loads)
Hornady (I like there Leverlution for My Levers - Marlin/Win)
Remington ( I also like the golden Saber in 9mm and for my .22 )
Winchester ( I prob buy equal amounts of Fed and Win in 9mm )

I use a lot of others Corbon, Speer etc in small carry guns like .25, .32, .380

Love Hydrashok especially in my .357's

Shoot , I just like em all really!

Can't vote. I carry various brands in various calibers. Poll does not allow multiple brands.

I carry either Winchester Ranger T 124 grain +P or 135 grain +P Federal Premium bonded. If I happen to be carrying my S&W 442 I'll carry Gold Dots.

Well, several of the above, plus another, so I indicated "other" in the poll. There are .40 Speer Gold Dots in my duty P229. My employer requires us to buy our own ammo, within guidelines, and 180-grain Gold Dots do well in my P229 pistols, shooting to point aim, plus remained available during the Obamascare.

In my .357 revolvers, I prefer different loads in different weapons, and my choice is sometimes limited by availability. I have about run out of Federal Classic 125-grain, and dealers seem not to stock it anymore, so Speer's full-pressure 125-grain load is now the load of choice for my defensive GP100 sixguns that have lugged barrels and adjustable sights. I have tended to use Winchester Silvertips in my various lighter .357 sixguns, but recently switched to Speer Short Barrel Gold Dots in my SP101 snubs.

I did use Winchester Silvertips in my .32 Seecamp, but switched to Gold Dots after Winchester changed the dimensions of their Silvertip load a few years ago, prompting Larry Seecamp to change his ammo recommendations.

I have about run out of my old .45 ACP Federal Hydra-Shoks, so I am about to buy several 230-grain JHP loads, to see what modern ammo my Baer 1911 likes. If any reputable manufacturer's load is notably more accurate, it will get the nod.

I generally use Remington buckshot and low-recoil slugs in my duty/defensive pump guns. I used Remington Golden Sabers when I carried Glocks for duty and some concealed carry, from 2002 to 2004.

My "other" is Buffalo Bore, .38 Special standard pressure and .45 Colt.

.40 S&W 180 gr. Federal HST in my Kahr PM40.

I have some 165 gr. Hornady ZombieMax ammo in the safe though..... just in case.:neener:

Standard pressure Hornandy 125gr or Winchester PDX 130gr +p in my 637. I seldom carry an auto but when I do, it's whatever is lying around.

I don't always carry a gun, but when I do, I prefer Buffalo Bore. (Or Brenneke Black Magic slugs, but that's for a 12 gauge shotgun.)

Corbon/Glaser.
Same here!! Glaser safety slug in both auto and revolver as the first 2-3 rounds. After those first two the next out is Cor-bon DPX. I worry a lot about over penetration, both people and walls.

If I'm goofing around in the fields and woods beside my house, I carry mostly Berry's reloads as I'm subject to shoot a box at knot holes, frogs, a strategically placed peach or mellon, (if in season).

Reloads. That way I can better AFFORD to continually check them for functioning, etc.

Mostly Speer, Corbon, and Buffalo Bore for carry ammo in my firearms But do use Remington and Winchester too. No matter what the BG can rest assured if need be I will only send the very best to ruin their day.:D
