What do you guys carry on a daily basis , handgun wise and what ammo do you have loaded in em'. Just curious what you guys like! I am sure that i missed a couple of the popular brands. sorry!

I carry a kahr k40 with Hornaday xtp's 165gr

Home defense is left up to my glock 19 with black talons!

Winchester SXT - in .45ACP

Winchester SXT in my .45 M1911A1; Winchester Silvertips in my little Taurus .44 Special.

I handload a LOT but leave Home Security ammo up to the manufacturers for two reasons: reliability (I have blinked once and loaded a squib on my press) and perchance I have to use it, I don't want to explain to a jury what a bad person I am for actually making my own lethal ammo. I'm not an ultimate believer in Winchester - I'd take one of the other "top line" makers, but that's what they had in stock last time I rotated my old "fighting ammo" out to the range. I hedge my bets a little - I know that sometimes expanding slugs don't expand, so I still go with big, heavy slugs.... maybe not totally scientific, but I sleep at night.

I'm still waiting for a particle beam weapon, though.

Taurus PT-145 Millennium Pro stuffed with 230-gr Hydra-Shoks.

BUG/"Always" gun is a Kel-Tec P-32 loaded with Cor-Bon 60-gr JHPs.

I found 230 a bit heavy for my PT145, switched to 185 to take better advantage of the 3.3" barrel.

I keep mine loaded with Wolf Gold 185 grain SJHP. Opinions on steel cased Wolf are numerous, but this stuff is brass cased and has proven 100% reliable in this gun (500 rounds) works for me, I trust it.

Oh, and in the Kel-Tec P11, Remington UMC 115 grain JHPs.

Wow! this is not an answer i ever thought i would see. I didn't know that wolf had jhp loads. But that is really cool that there are people out there that would trust there lives to them. I am a big wolf fan especially for 7.62x39 and .223, i want to checkout some of those 75gr multi-purpose loads from wolf. I think they would make perfect loads for about any situation i might run in to!

Rem UMC 230 JHPs in a SIG P220. Tried the Hornady TAP but I did not find it to be that accurate.

I put over 200 rounds of the UMC through my gun the other day and while I was not shooting well the ammo did fine. It made a nice group up and to the left of where I was actually aiming. The TAP stuff shot a pattern rather than a group so I'm not going to spend that much money for bad results. I'll take accuracy over X-tremE expansion any day.

Glock 29 with Gold Dot Double-Tap 165s or Georgia Arms 180s.

Sometimes it is my XD-45 with 230-gr Speer Gold Dots.

And other times it is my reliable 1911 or my Model 22 S&W .45 revolver with full moon clips.

I like variety. :)

Still, I always wish I could always have a good rifle nearby like my 20" AR-15. Or my Moss 590 8+1 Ghost Ring sighted shotgun. But that only happens around the homestead.

Speer Gold Dot 135 grain .38 Special +P in my S&W 442 and S&W 640.

Remington Golden Saber 165 grain .40 S&W in my Beretta 96D Centurion.

I carry 155 grain winchester silvertips in my Taurus MIL-PRO 40....1200 fps with 500 ft/lbs muzzle energy....whooahhhh.:D
