Tulsa show had a shotgun discharge today. Gun was loaded and tie wrapped all through the show. Apparently the tie wrap didn’t get out on right. Shot was straight up fortunately.
They aren't drop safe so flex tying the trigger doesn't make it safe. It should have been completely checked at the door

Was at the Tulsa gun show today they have the no loaded guns and all weapons must be checked and tied signs. About 2 hours in some person manages to discharge a gun. I could not see where it happened the show is so big. But the pa announcement reminding everyone that no loaded guns are allowed about 5 min after the bang confirmed what happened. Seemed to be no injuries at least.
If it was a dealer i believe that is a lifetime ban from the show.

The last show I went to I asked about my carry piece after seeing the “no loaded firearms” sign. The guy asked if I was permitted. When I showed him my permit he said “carry on and have a good day. If he would have told me to unload I wouldn’t have gone in.

The rule makes sense to me. Shows like that attract alot of morons and many of them would be holstering and unholstering all day with trying/trading different things. A bad accident would be inevitable.
